Insulation Panel Grip Français
CR400 is an acrylic latex adhesive for insulation panels. It has a strong initial adhesion and sets rapidly to offer a resistant and flexible hold. Specially formulated for rigid insulation panels installations on concrete, wood, masonry or any other porous materials.
Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be even, clean, dry and free of dust, rust, oil, grease, frost, flaky paint or from any contaminants that might decrease adhesion. Use the Fondafix product to level imperfection on concrete or masonry walls to obtain uniform surfaces.
Notched trowel: Apply with a 3 mm (1/8'') V-notched trowel (recommended method to bond polystyrene panel or gypsum panels to insulation surfaces, see restrictions). In bead: Apply a 12 mm (1/2'') diameter bead at 150 mm (6'') between axles forming a serpentine. In drops: Apply nut-sized drops every 150 mm (6''). Once flattened out, the drops will have 40 to 50 mm (1 1/2 to 2'') diameter. Set the insulation panel in place by firmly pressing in several areas for maximum contacts. Note: Joints must be seal to prevent air infiltration behind insulation panels. Drying time depends on application method, temperature and surface porosity
Clean tools and equipment with water.
