Apply a 3mm (1/8″) layer of plastic cement for dry or wet surfaces, either CR25, to the joint around the chimney. Place reinforcing mesh in the plastic cement and cover it with another 3mm (1/8″) layer of plastic cement for dry or wet surfaces. The product will follow temperature changes will not crack because the mesh serves as a reinforcement.

The most frequent places are in the valleys’ around the chimneys’ at the end of the sloping roofs and around the fans or ventilation system.

Apply CR2030 clear plaster to the old roof area, in which you can add a latex stain to even out the color on the new roof.

Use CR25 plastic cement for dry or wet surfaces in small quantities, i.e. 1 inch diameter 3mm (1/8″) thick. Then’ nail the shingle or staple it.

Use CR40 Black Fibrous Roof Coating by applying a 3mm (1/8″) thin coat. It is a product that remains on the surface’ because it is based on fibres. It gives a thicker protective layer than the non-fibrous coating. Can extend the roof by 2 to 3 years if applied in several thin coats during the same application and if it has time to dry well. A rubberized fibrous plaster CR340 can also be used in the same way. This product is rubberized. We also have a range of silicone products for Roofseal roofs. These products are latex-based and come in several colours.

Warning: if the product is applied in too thick a layer’ it will only dry on the surface and if it rains’ the product could fade or turn yellow.

Using clear roof plaster CR2030 helps to keep the granules in place on the shingle and prevents them from falling into the slabs. The fungicide contained avoids black marks or fungal growth on the north side’ as frequently seen. It is a latex product that is applied to a dry shingle. Make sure there will be no rain for 24 to 48 hours after application as rain will completely wash the product away.

Use Sealflex’ a colored and rubberized product with elastomer that restores color to the shingle. If the shingle has several shades’ it will become a solid color. The elastomer contained in Sealflex protects the pores of the shingle and prevents water infiltration. There are 2 types of products: Sealflex is applied on a wooden’ metal or shingle roof. The formulation of Roofseal, on the other hand, does not include an anti-corrosion product. It is applied on all roofs except metal roofs. Several colors are available including: green’ brown’ grey’ grey’ grey’ concrete’ black’ white and red brick.

Use Sealflex and Roofseal’ a product available in several colors rubberized with elastomer that will restore color to the shingle. If the shingle has several shades it willbecome a solid color. The elastomer contained in Sealflex or Roofseal protects the pores of the shingle and prevents water infiltration. There are 2 types of products: Sealflex is applied on a metal roof but can also be used on a wooden or shingle roof. Roofseal has the same properties as Sealflex but does not apply to metal roofs. Several colors are available including: green’ brown’ grey’ grey’ grey concrete’ black’ white’ red brick’ beige.

Use Sealflex or Roof for coloured and rubberised products with elastomer. The elastomer contained inside protects the pores of the shingle and prevents water infiltration. Sealflex is applied on a wooden roof made of metal or shingles. The Roof is applied to a shingle roof only. Several colors are available including: green’ brown’ grey’ grey’ grey’ concrete’ black’ white and red brick.

The elastomers contained in the coatings, CR340, CR380 or CR390 or Sealflex and Roofseal, make them rubberized by giving them a certain elasticity and sealing micro cracks, which makes them much more effective than a regular coating. It is also more resistant to temperature variations and is specially designed for flat or metal roofs.

These coatings are waterproof durable and designed to resist UV rays’ cracks’ peeling’ chalking’, mould and discoloration. Sealflex is applied on wood’ metal’ shingles and concrete. The Roofseal can be applied to all surfaces except metal.

Be sure to close the windows, the air exchanger, the air conditioning and the ventilation units. The roof must be dry and dust-free. Check that there will be no rain for 24 to 48 hours after application to allow the product to dry properly.

There are 2 possible solutions. The first is to completely change the roof. The second is a temporary solution. You have to pierce the bubble and cut it crosswise. Then’ wipe off the water or moisture on the roof (dry well). Then’ apply to the roof’ inside the bubble a thin layer of plastic cement CR25. It is preferable to wait until the plastic cement is dry but not mandatory before closing the bubble by attaching the sides. Finally’ apply a thin layer of CR25 plastic cement to the surface of the bubble. Apply a reinforcing mesh to the CR25 layer and apply another thin layer of plastic cement on top. Plastic cement layers should not exceed 3mm (1/8″) as otherwise it will dry on the surface and crack in the first few days after application. The operation will therefore have to be restarted.

Use the FondaFix. This product is specifically formulated to repair foundation cracks. Apply a coat to the crack. Apply a fibreglass reinforcement mesh and cover with another layer of Fondafix to avoid a colour difference between the new and old concrete.

Always repair from the outside. A repair from the inside will be useless. We’ll have to dig where the crack is. Clean the foundation with pressure. Once the foundation is dry’ apply CR360 Rubber Foundation Coating or CR340 Fiber Rubber Coating if you need a thicker membrane (strongly recommended on a block foundation). If this has not already been done’ it is advisable to apply plastic cement at the junction of the foundation and the footing.

The best way to repair a crack is to cover it with CR20 or CR25 plastic cement, add a reinforcing mesh and cover it with another layer of plastic cement. In order to standardize the appearance of the foundation it is suggested to cover the entire surface with a CR60 foundation plaster.

A non-fibrous bitumen-based roofing plaster can be used as a replacement for a foundation plaster. Non-fibrous plaster is thicker than foundation plaster. However, foundation plaster cannot be used on a roof.

CR340 rubberized fibrous plaster on a block foundation is strongly recommended the fibres will give a thicker protection. CR360 Rubberized Foundation Coating can also be used. However, it is also possible to apply a Sealflex elastomeric coating. Sealflex gives a strong coloured protective layer on the foundation. Available colors: green’ grey’ brown’ brown’ grey concrete’ black’ white’ red brick and beige.

Sealflex elastomer coating is durable and specially designed to resist mould cracks and discoloration. Sealflex contains an anti-corrosion agent that prevents and reduces the formation of rust on old metal substrates. It is available in several colours including: green’ grey’ brown’ brown’ grey concrete’ black’ white’ red brick and beige.

You can ask a clerk who can make a special order. Delivery times are fast’ and in a few days the product can be delivered.

Use baby oil or lighter fluid to carefully clean the stain. Caution: a trace of colour may remain on the surface.
