N.I.S. Adhesive T-50

The T50 is an professional N.I.S. adhesive. Composed of premium materials, it is used in cold processes to bond N.I.S. roofing papers, felt papers and asphalt paper. Its composition gives it a very strong adhesion on all types of surfaces without altering the composition of bonded materials. Penetrating oils in this product ensure that the adhesive remains flexible and sticky longer.

Application temperature

10°C and more preferably. The product will be thicker when the temperature decreases.

Surface preparation

Surfaces must be clean and free of dust, dirt or other contaminants. Surface repairs must first be done with plastic cement from Thiroco.

Application

Do not apply if rain is expected. During colder periods, keep the product in a temperate place to facilitate its application. Stir well before application. Apply the product in an thin and even layer. Close the container after each use.

Drying

Allow about 24h for the drying. The drying time depends on the application method, the ambient temperature, the surface and the thickness applied.

Restriction / Caution

Avoid contact with polystyrene foam insulation boards. Do not apply on wet surfaces. Keep out of the reach of children. If the product is applied near a ventilation or air conditioning unit, take the necessary precautions to prevent infiltration of solvent odours toward the inside. Keep open container or freshly applied product away from open flames, sparks or other sources of heat. For outdoor use only.

Warranty

10 years limited warranty when installed and / or applied as recommended by the manufacturer. We will replace the product with a manufacturing defect. Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be liable for any amount exceeding the purchase price of the product used. The consumer must ensure that this product is suitable for the intended use. Because of atmospheric conditions, applicator competence and surface conditions being independent of the manufacturer’s control, we limit our liability for one year following the date of purchase, with proof of purchase, to replacement of defective material only in its original hermetic container. Port paid plant (FOB plant).
