Clear roof coating CR-2030

The CR2030 is an acrylic roof coating. Composed of thermoplastic polymers, it forms by drying a transparent film which protects the roofs from the harmful effects resulting of the formation of algae and mold. It also protects against coniferous spines. It has the characteristic of keeping in place the rocks of the shingles. It is ideal for extending the useful life of shingles but also RV roofs, tarred paper surfaces, cedar shingles and wood. This coating forms a flexible and durable coating that can withstands extreme temperature variations.

Surface preparation

Surfaces must be clean and free of dust, dirt or other contaminants. To stop organic contaminants, clean the surface using a biocide available at the hardware store. Repairs must first be made with Condor plastic cement.

Application

Do not apply if rain is expected and/or if dew may occur before complete drying. Stir well all the contents of the pail before application. During the application and during the complete drying, the temperature should be above 5°C. Apply a thin layer of the product evenly over the entire surface. Allow to dry and harden, protecting the surface against weathering. Close the container after each use.

Drying

Allow about 10 minutes for surface drying and about 1-5h for complete drying. The drying time depends on the application method, the ambient temperature, the surface and the thickness applied.

Do not apply on wet surfaces. Make sure the bituminous surfaces are stable and dry.

Store this product away from frost. The product may be kept in its original sealed container up to 12 months after the date of purchase by the user.

Warranty

5 years limited warranty when installed and / or applied as recommended by the manufacturer. We will replace the product with a manufacturing defect. Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be liable for any amount exceeding the purchase price of the product used. The consumer must ensure that this product is suitable for the intended use. Because of atmospheric conditions, applicator competence and surface conditions being independent of the manufacturer’s control, we limit our liability for one year following the date of purchase, with proof of purchase, to replacement of defective material only in its original hermetic container. Port paid factory (FAB factory).
