Fibered and aluminum rubberized roof coating CR-390

The CR390 is a rubberized and fibered aluminum coating for roofing. Composed of asphalt, mineral fibers, elastomer and aluminum paste, this product serves as a decorative coating and waterproofing for roofs, flashings, buildings and metal structures in one step. It is ideal for filling cracks or covering possibly damaged screw heads. The reflective aspect repels UV rays, lowers heat’s absorption on the surface and delays the contraction and dilation of various substrates. Application on metal prevents the oxidation phenomenon that causes rust. They provide excellent flexibility and weather resistance properties. It is recommended as a topcoat in combination with the Flex Condor product line.

Surface preparation

Surfaces must be clean and free of dust, dirt or other contaminants. For best results, Surface repairs must first be done with Rubberized Plastic Cement CR320 from Condor Flex.

Application

Do not apply if rain is expected and/or if dew may occur before complete drying. During colder periods, keep the product in a temperate place to facilitate its application. Stir well all the contents of the pail before application. The product does not require any dilution. First, apply a layer on the overlaps and nail heads. Then evenly apply a thin layer of the product over the entire surface. Avoid excessive brushing. Close the container after each use.

Drying

Allow about 4-8h for surface drying and about 48-72h for complete drying. The drying time depends on the application method, the ambient temperature, the surface and the thickness applied.

Restriction / Caution

Avoid any contact with polystyrene insulation panel, solvent-sensitive materials or coal tar products. Do not apply on wet surfaces, wood or on any highly absorbent surfaces. It is important to make sure that the bitumen coatings are stable, completely dry and free of volatile residues. There is a risk of colour change in environments conducive to aluminum oxidation. Moisture can tarnish freshly applied coating and prevent it from drying out. Keep out of the reach of children. If the product is applied near a ventilation or air conditioning unit, take the necessary precautions to prevent infiltration of solvent odours toward the inside. Keep open container or freshly applied product away from open flames, sparks or other sources of heat. For outdoor use only.

The product may be kept in its original sealed container up to 12 months after the date of purchase by the user.

Warranty

10 years limited warranty when installed and / or applied as recommended by the manufacturer. We will replace the product with a manufacturing defect. Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be liable for any amount exceeding the purchase price of the product used. The consumer must ensure that this product is suitable for the intended use. Because of atmospheric conditions, applicator competence and surface conditions being independent of the manufacturer’s control, we limit our liability for one year following the date of purchase, with proof of purchase, to replacement of defective material only in its original hermetic container.
